Refund Policy — Study Abroad Consultancy
1. Application Fees
All initial consultation or application processing fees paid to Global Connect are non-refundable, as they cover counselling, documentation review, and administrative costs incurred during the process.
2. University/College Application Fees
Any application or admission fees paid directly to universities, colleges, or partner institutions are non-refundable as these are governed by the respective institutions’ policies.
3. Visa Processing Fees
Visa processing or service fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the embassy or consulate. In case of visa rejection,Global Connect is not liable to refund any amount, as the final decision lies with the respective immigration authorities.
4. Service Package Cancellations
- If a student cancels before document submission, 50% of the service fee may be refunded (subject to management approval).
- If cancellation is made after application submission, no refund will be issued.
- Refund requests must be made in writing via email to globalconnectchennai@gmail.com.
5. Program Changes or Withdrawals
If a student decides to change or withdraw from a program or country after approval, any refund will depend on:
- The status of the application with the university/embassy
- The actual expenses incurred up to that point.
6. Service Delays or Rejections
Global Connect provides guidance and support services but does not guarantee admission or visa approval. Refunds will not be applicable in such cases.
7. Processing Time for Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 15–30 business days from the date of written confirmation, via the original mode of payment.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Information may be shared only with:
- Partner universities or colleges
- Visa and immigration authorities
- Third-party service providers (like courier or payment partners) strictly for application-related purposes.

6. Data Retention
Your data will be stored securely for record-keeping and compliance purposes for up to five (5) years after your application is processed or withdrawn.
